I’m so excited that you’ve decided to join our community for the 21 Day Spiritual Fast to love your best life! Although I’ve been fasting for most of my life, I would only surrender a few areas of my life to God. Honestly, I wasn’t taking my fasting journey seriously because I didn’t truly understand how to fast. I didn’t understand how to be in a relationship with God. I didn’t understand how to stop fighting for control and to rest in God’s presence.

 

 

2016 was different, I decided to become more intentional about fasting. I am not sure why- it was as if the Holy Spirit was guiding me to abide in Him and that’s what I did! Why not, I had nothing to lose. So I developed my fasting strategy. My strategy was simple- I scheduled an appointment with God for 5:30am every day, purchased a book about fasting, went grocer shopping, and prayed fervently for the courage to commit to the fast.

 

I went to my appointment every day for 20 days and I was wondering if I would ever hear from God. Then, on Sunday, January 24th, 2016- the 21st day- and let me add- the last day of my fast- God spoke to me. On that day he revealed to me some areas of my life that needed healing. That experience was life changing and I’ve never looked back. Every year since then, I’ve learned something new about myself. God continues to reveal the areas of my life in which he wants me to give over to Him. You guys, this surrendering and pruning process is not an easy feat; but trust me, I am learning that when I say YES so does God.

 

Fasting and community prayer will change your  life. 

 

I want others to experience the Holy Spirit move in their lives.  I want others to witness a series of miracles in their lives.  What happened for me CAN happen for you and when you witness God’s miraculous power- I hope you will continue to join The Agape Advantage community every year. 

 

For the next 21 days, together we will witness the transformational impacts of communal fasting and prayer.  During our time together, we will harness the power of the Holy Spirit to help us break free from strongholds, chains, shackles and bondage. During this time, we will increase our sensitivity to the Creator’s whisper, cleanse our souls, and learn how to take our praise, worship, and prayer to the next level. 

 

I have no idea where you are on your journey.  All I know is that many of us go to sleep every single night with something tugging on our hearts. We seek restoration for our marriages, we are faithfully trusting God for an planted embryo, we are waiting for the perfect time to take control of our health, we battling with additions, we wrestle with forgiveness, we are praying for a different medical report,  we want to break free from the past that is causing us to live in shame, we want fear to stop crippling us from pursuing our dreams, starting that business, and/or apply for that job.  We all have visions that consume our hearts and minds and GOD has been waiting for us to conspire with him! 

 

I am excited that we get to go on this journey together.  God’s promise WILL be revealed.
